Privacy Policy We respect data!

The way we treat personal data is very important to the MSA Group.

Personal data protection is our commitment to the security of your Data and respect for your privacy, but also a commitment we have to you being in control of your Personal Data.

We are very serious about complying with the laws that protect your privacy and we are in compliance with Law No. 13,709/2018 – General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD), which is the Brazilian legislation that regulates personal data processing activities.

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy is a document containing the Privacy and Security practices and measures adopted by the MSA Group.

The purpose of the Policy is to provide information on how the company obtains, uses, stores and protects the personal data it collects, in order to bring transparency to data subjects. We only process the personal data necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected, considering the following legal bases: compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation, regular exercise of a right, legitimate interest or through your consent. The stored data is protected in order to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

For the purposes of this Policy, the company Marel Industria de Móveis S/A, headquartered at Avenida Duque de Caxias, 360, CEP 85.601-190, City of Francisco Beltrão, State of Paraná, registered with the CNPJ under no. 77.808.640/0001-38 and all companies in which it holds a direct or indirect equity interest, shall be considered.

In order to help you understand the MSA Group Privacy Policy, we have outlined some considerations below.

1. Legal bases

These are the legal hypotheses that authorize us to Process Personal Data: it could be your consent, the need to fulfill a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation, for example.

2. Consent

It is the free, informed and unequivocal manifestation by which the holder agrees to the processing of his/her personal data for a specific purpose.

3. Cookies

These are small text files that are saved on your computer, smartphone or tablet and can be retrieved by the website while you are browsing. They can be useful, for example, to make the website fit your screen, better understand your preferences and offer you better browsing experiences.

4. Common and sensitive personal data

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Personal data is also the set of distinct information that can lead to the identification of a specific person. Data is classified as common data and sensitive data.

Examples of common personal data include: name, address, email, ID, CPF, among others. Sensitive data is data relating to racial origin, religious belief, political opinion, genetic or biometric data, among others.

5. Data Controller

He is our Data Protection Officer (DPO), who acts as a communication channel between the MSA Group, Data Subjects and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), when it comes to the protection of your Personal Data.

6. Resellers and Brands

They are the retailers who resell our brands Marel Design Mobile, Dimare Planejados and Kless Planejados.

7. E-commerce

Refers to the sales channel through marketplaces that sell our Amóbi brand.

8. Data subject

You are the natural person to whom the Personal Data refers. Whether as a consumer; user of our products, businesses and experiences; company employee, or even as a reseller or representative of our brands.

9. Data processing

These are the uses we make of your Personal Data, including, but not limited to, the following activities: collection, storage, consultation, use, deletion, anonymization and evaluation.

What personal data does MSA Group collect and how do we collect it?

The way in which personal data is collected and what personal data MSA Group collects depends on your relationship with the company.

If you visit our brand's retail stores and make designs with the intention of purchasing our products, your data will be collected through design software so that we can offer you a better shopping experience. We collect your name, address, email and cell phone number.

If you purchase our products through our brands' reseller stores, we will collect your name, address, email, cell phone number and CPF so that we can correctly allocate your purchase to the reseller stores and so that you can track your order through our brands' websites.

If you purchase our products through e-commerce, we collect the data necessary to issue tax documents, track and deliver your products.

If you share your data with us through forms on our websites, we will collect the necessary data so that we can communicate with you and meet your expectations.

If you visit the MSA Group, located in Francisco Beltrão (PR), and access the Wi-Fi, you will register and collect your name, cell phone number, email, CPF, date of birth and gender. The goal is to record your access to make navigation available.

If you are a user of the Marel Corporate University – MEAD distance learning platform, when registering you will be asked for your full name, email and telephone number.

If you are an employee or apply for a vacancy, the company will collect your data through our human resources department and the data will be necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Through cookies, which collect browsing information such as geographic location, browser type and duration of visit.

Who do we share your personal data with?

In order to fulfill our obligations and so that we can create better experiences for our customers, we may share your Personal Data with other companies, always seeking to preserve your privacy as much as possible. 

We always seek to carefully evaluate our suppliers and enter into contractual obligations with them regarding information security and Personal Data protection, with the aim of minimizing risks for the Data Subject. 

Data sharing is done with companies in the following sectors: advertising, marketing, digital and social media tools; product logistics and delivery; and data hosting companies.

What are the rights of personal data holders?

Personal Data is yours and Brazilian law guarantees that you have a series of rights related to it. MSA Group is committed to complying with these rights and, in this section, we will explain what your rights are and how you can exercise them: 

Confirmation and Access

It allows you to check whether the MSA Group processes your Personal Data and, if so, request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you. 

Correction 

Allows you to request the correction of your incomplete, inaccurate or outdated Personal Data. 

Anonymization or deletion

It allows you to ask us to anonymize your data, so that it can no longer be related to you and therefore ceases to be Personal Data; or to delete your Data, in which case we will erase all your Data without the possibility of reversal, except in cases provided for by law. 

Revocation of consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to Processing activities that are based on this Legal Basis. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any Processing carried out previously.

How to contact MSA Group about personal data

To exercise your rights, MSA Group may request some information for verification purposes to prevent fraud. We do this to ensure security and privacy.

The MSA Group undertakes to respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and always in compliance with applicable legislation.
