On June 13, 2024, the MSA Group inaugurated a new gymnasium for sports and leisure activities for its employees. The space was named after Neri Scheuer, popularly known as "Carica," in honor of the sports enthusiast who passed away in 2003 at the age of 48. Carica, who was a goalkeeper and organizer of numerous tournaments, is remembered for his encouragement of sports. This tribute seeks to perpetuate his legacy within the company and in the sports field.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Carica's parents, Alda and Arlindo Scheuer, as well as her brothers Eloy, Rudi, and Paulo, among other family members. Members of the Board of Directors, the MSA Group's management, and several employees also participated in the event, highlighting the importance of the new space for the internal community.
The gymnasium was designed to offer the best conditions for practicing sports and is now available for use by the Marel Employees Association (AMA). Interested employees can pay a small monthly fee, which grants access not only to the gymnasium, but also to barbecue grills, a wooded area, a playground, and kiosks.
With this initiative, the MSA Group reinforces its commitment to the well-being and quality of life of its employees, providing an environment that encourages physical activity and moments of camaraderie.
