The MSA Group has just officially announced its support for the Formando Cidadão project. Implemented in the municipality for 22 years, the initiative is developed by the Military Police in partnership with the Municipal Department of Social Assistance.

The project is a benchmark in working with adolescents aged 11 to 17, from low-income families and in vulnerable situations, and the partnership with the MSA Group aims to improve the physical facilities where classes are held. The Program offers pedagogical support and develops socio-educational actions, with activities for professional initiation and social, moral, physical and educational development.

“It is important to see that these young people have the opportunity to study and evolve in every way, and our intention is to continue collaborating with the good initiatives of organized civil society”, highlights José Vagner, Commercial Director of the MSA Group.

Other activities carried out at the Battalion include sports, community service and strengthening of bonds, crafts and participation in educational lectures. The Citizen Formation also carries out referral actions through a protection network linked to the CRAS – Social Assistance Reference Center.

Currently, the Program is coordinated by pedagogue Vera Lucia de Witt and has Sd. Marco Antônio Beraldo Vieira as its military instructor.
